Me, but fictional. I hope.

First, a word:

The following lines can come off as overly awesome and maybe (quite) a bit pretentious.

This character has been developing in my mind from when I was about eight years old, long before I have heard about MLP from somewhere else then those awful TV commercials. At first he belonged only into one of my imagined realms, but he developed into a planeswalker and dimension hopper, a character that can fit anywhere anytime, not unlike The Doctor or Magic The Gatherings Planeswalkers. He did however come about entirely in my mind - and of course from heaps of inspiration all around.

Well and now lets get to the meat and potatoes.

Iluzon is a mage. A terribly overpowered specimen of one. Actually so strong and powerful, that he is a smidge better than even the universes most powerful entities banded together (which, by the way, is the cause of their interest in lower lifeforms - if they could persuade those to assist them against that rude dabster, the power balance might tip over the critical amount in their favor).

He´s so old, that he doesn´t actually know anymore how old he really is or where his might comes from (though, if he really wanted, he could dig out that info out of his personal security vault dimension).

His favourite type of magic are illusions. He can be who he wants, when he wants, however he wants, he can bamboozle anyone while hopefully teaching them something to boot.

He loves fun¨. He´s the kind of fun who loves to prank anybody, he invents entertainment for the masses as well as for his own personal enjoyment. Sometimes it goes too far and he hurts somebody, but never on purpose. He is not unlike Discord, but unlike him he doesn´t act with the intention to hurt.

If its not to protect himself or someone else in the moment, he doesn´t present himself as a superhero or someone who is there to protect the universe (despite trying quite a few times and failing in many different ways). However, if he discovers something that goes against his moral values or one of his many enemies goes after him, he does not hesitate to defend himself.

His favorite weapon against individuals is the iluball. It superficially resembles a fireball, but unlike it it does not not do something so boring as set the target ablaze. Upon impact, it releases concentrated magical energy which sends the target to its brand spanking new personal dimension, tailored just for him. In this dimension, the target wins and acquires all his immediate desires. These are often unattainable outside the dimension, but the opponent often does not think in such details. Usually, absolute victory leads the opponent to question about his true motivations and to an introspective spiritual journey (which the spell helps along greatly), on which end a better person returns to reality.

However, there is one major downside - the process is instantaneous from the perspective outside the pocket dimension, which leads an outside observer to conclude, that the spell has a brainwashing effect.

Against armies Iluzon wields a different weapon - two double edged axes with wide blades, which he can throw with uncanny accuracy. Their magic ensures, that they return into the hands of their wielder in a blink of an eye, They can also be joined together and magically spin so fast, that they become invisible. Iluzon then uses magic to navigate them on their path of devastation (you can imagine of a hybrid of the whistle stiletto from The Guardians of Galaxy and Sivir bumerang from LoL). Heads then fall seemingly without reason.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. What would it be for after all if it didn´t grant the possibility to have a little fun? Unfortunately, despite his great imagination Iluzon struggles with coming up new ways to entertain himself that does not conflict with his moral sensibilities. Thus every now and then he locks away his power and reincarnates himself as a baby. Be it human, pony, dragon, or any other. He then grows up in that world as a normal member of its society. He does however retain his soul, his moral code and his character traits. He is split apart from his power, but, if his self created magical AI that takes care of his power in his absence comes to the conclusion, that an intervention is in order, it can affect him during his life (inception, inspiration etc.) or contact him directly. At the moment of his death soul is transported into his security vault dimension, where he then confronts and analyses his memories and decides what to do next.

He constantly combats soul fatigue. He constantly reignites his wonder of the diversity of the multiverses, inspires himself from the happenings in his surroundings and throws himself into one activity after another. He fights sloth and passivity, with the knowledge, that despite his power, knowledge, experience and the wisdom of his age he will never be able to encompass everything there is. Rather than accomplishing grand feats and positioning himself as the leader of giant societal movements he gives suggestions every so often that give potential to create something new and different. He knows that he is unsuited to lead.

He likes both his alone time and company. He does however have problems creating and holding onto a tight knit group of personal relationships.

His favorite pony form is an azure blue earth pony with a wild deep blue and orange mane and a constantly shifting cutiemark consisting of the motives of laughter, infinity, chaos and hope. In case he wants to cast a spell he will apparate a small curved horn. His eyes are steel blue, almost grey with a tinge of sadness.
